BE the Light that you ARE...
Being true to yourself and others is something that we should practice every day. Today is a wonderful time to remind ourselves and each other how truly important it is to be a leader to our fellow brothers and sisters. Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. ultimately paid with his life but, his works have not gone unnoticed. His life and work are celebrated. Let’s not stop there.
We would be wise to take the time to remember the works of great people like Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., by standing up for what you believe in. A better life for the whole is something that we are all capable of yet why do so many do nothing? I am not suggesting that you coordinate large groups of people or start a revolution. What I am suggesting is that through you great things can happen.
Like a lonely pebble tossed into a pond you can create a ripple effect. Small things like teaching children how to be respectful of one another, opening a door for an elderly person or sharing your talents without asking for something in return. Any time you take the time to BE the Light that you ARE you are creating your ripple in the pond of humanity.
Thank you to all of you who are working so hard to make our world a more peaceful and loving place. May your actions help others to do the same.
